What are the Jewish Helpline (Miyad) and JLine, the new Helpline for young people?

Miyad is a national telephone helpline run for the Jewish community and staffed by professionally trained volunteers. We have many years’ experience of providing a listening service to callers, offering them the opportunity to talk and be heard in a confidential and non-judgmental environment. The number to call is 0800 652 9249.

The line supports all callers regardless of religious commitment, age or gender and we can see the clear need for a dedicated children’s line.
